The Ophthalmology Department in Alsalam hospital is run under the supervision of University Professors and Ophthalmology consultants of the armed forces

The Ophthalmology clinic provides the following services:

			Routine and accurate measurement of intra ocular pressure especially for high-risk groups for early detection of glaucoma and follow up after starting the treatment.
			Examination for cataracts, errors of refraction as well as assessments of the fundus and optic nerve
			Follow up of diabetic patients for early detection and follow up of diabetic retinopathy
